 Cesari has over 27 years of retail experience, plus an additional 15 plus years in the leather industry, so he knows a thing or two about quality and price.
At Pocono Mountain Leather Co. in the Village Centre Mall, Snyders, Pa., Cesari offers a fine line of leather products and motorcycle fashions and accessories at prices that are tough to beat. He also carries the popular line of Harley Davidson licensed products. The advantage, he says, is that he can offer wholesale prices that are easy on the wallet.
"I can put out a better coat at half the price," he says, referring to the usual markups found at most high-end leather shops.
After spending six weeks setting up shop, Cesari, of Wilkes-Barre, held a grand opening at the snyders crossroads, complete with live music, food, refreshments and two outdoor specialty tents. He says he likes Route 895/309 location because it has high visibility and serves as a local motorcycle crossroads.
"I'm smack-dab between Schaeffer's Harley Davidson in Orwigsburg and Blocker's in Parryville," he said, explaining that Robert Dunn was instrumental in leading Cesari to the spot.
Our newest location in Ashley Pa. has been a hub for all motorcycle enthusiasts in the Wilkes-Barre area. Besides the store locations, Pocono Mountain Leather has a mobile unit that does alot of the Bike Rallies in the State of Pennsylvania. Also doing bike nights at several locations in the local area such as Outsiders in Wilkes-Barre every Tuesday night, Quaker Steak & Lube in Buckhorn every Wednesday night and Lonestar Steak House in Wilkes-Barre every Thursday night.
Cesari has a wealth of experience in leather production and merchandising. He formerly served as vice president of Manhattan Shirt Co. before getting involved in leather specialization.
"At one time I ran one of the largest leather manufacturing firms in the world," he said, describing an earlier career operating a leather production facility based in Pakistan. Some of his leather products originate from that area, although he also imports specialty items from places such as China and Korea.
